KARAKORAM: The Chapursan Valley at Zuda Khun

The Chapursan is a long and isolated valley that runs northwest from the village of Sost on the Karakoram Highway. It's upper reaches run parallel with and very close to the Wakhan in Afghanistan, and the Irshad Unwin pass leads off from it into the Pamirs.
