Lasht Wallah
A Wakhi from the village of Lasht in the Yarkhun valley. The people of upper Chitral - Yarkhun and Boroghil - are Wakhis. Taking their name from their ancestral homeland (the Wakhan, in Afghanistan), they speak the Wakhi language and are Ishmaili Moslems (followers of the Agha Khan).
